Customised IVT application

Several standard IVT solutions are being developed through collaboration between Torotrak and major tier 1 transmission manufacturers. If you identify one of these solutions as suitable for your application a shorter development programme is possible, customising the IVT for your application through a joint programme between you, Torotrak and the tier 1 transmission supplier.

The following is a typical example of the process Torotrak follows with a licensee to customise an existing IVT design for a specific application. As the numbers of steps involved, and their duration, varies greatly depending on the application and customer's requirements this example is a guide.
