21/12/06 - Directorate Change

Torotrak plc announces that Rebecca Joyce, Finance Director, is standing down as
a director of the company as a result of continuing poor health. She will leave
the company immediately.

The board would like to thank Rebecca for her support to Torotrak over many
years and wish her well in her recovery.

A separate announcement will be made shortly regarding the ongoing financial
management of the Company.
