The IVT is applicable to all sizes of RWD cars and Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) as there is no torque limitation. Torotrak are currently demonstrating the technology in a Ford Expedition with a 5.4 litre engine. The image above shows an IVT for a RWD luxury car that is currently being tested in a customer's vehicle.
