Health and safety
Torotrak takes the health and safety of employees, contractors and visitors very seriously. We provide clean, healthy and safe working conditions, and new employees and contractors are given an extensive health and safety briefing upon arrival.
Most importantly, we aim to create a participative environment and good teamworking, communication and support for our team of employees, and for the contractors that we work with.
We encourage proactive participation by all our employees in identifying and controlling hazards. The health and safety performance is monitored by the Board and we are pleased to report that we have had no accidents to report under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).
We endeavour to provide a supportive benefits package that focuses particularly on the health and welfare of employees and family protection in the event of loss of earnings.
Employee benefits include healthcare and medical cover, life insurance and an income protection scheme covering long-term illness.
