If I hold my shares in the Company through a third party (eg an ISA, pension of nominee account), can I still receive a copy of Torotrak’s Annual Report?

Yes. As Torotrak is a listed company, under the Beneficial Owners Information Rights provision, you can ask the provider of your shares to lodge your details with our registrars, Capita, who will then send Company communications to you in the future.

If I hold my shares in the Company through a third party, is it possible to attend and vote at the Company’s AGM?

Yes. You will be able to attend the AGM as a guest – just come along on the day and register as such at the registration desk. However you will not be able to vote unless you ask the provider of your shares to appoint you as their proxy, which may involve a charge from their side. Alternatively, you can ask your provider for a letter of representation, which may also involve a charge from their side.

I have recently moved house. How do I update my address details?

For security reasons, we regret that we can not accept a change of address notification by telephone or by email. We request that we receive notification by post and that the request has been signed by the shareholder (or their attorney).

Can I change how I receive communications from the Company?

Yes. Unless you have registered for the Share Portal service, which provides Company communications by email (including links to the annual report on our web site), we will primarily communicate with you by way of post. The annual report is the exception to this rule. To keep mailing and paper costs to a minimum we will send you a letter with link to the Report on our web site. You will then be able to download the Report to your computer.

Why do I receive multiple copies of your letters? How do I stop this?

When purchasing shares in Torotrak at separate times, your name or address details may have differed slightly, therefore the registrars are obliged to treat them as separate entries on the register.

To amalgamate your holdings into one entry, please write to the Registrar at Capita Registrars, Northern House, Woodsome Park, Fenay Bridge, Huddersfield HD8 0GA stating that you wish to amalgamate your holding. Please include full details of the holdings (name, address and holder number exactly as it appears on your share certificate) and indicate the correct name and address details to be used on the amalgamated holding.

I live in the United States. Would I be able to purchase shares in Torotrak through a broker here?

Torotrak is not traded on US markets. However, your broker may be able to purchase shares on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol TRK.
